The core value and primary purpose of Morristown High School, with its large and diverse population, is to foster a community in which learning is meaningful, challenging and lifelong, and where the expectations of growth, individual understanding, excellence and creativity exist for all students and staff in a dynamic and academic environment. This mission will be achieved through a research-based process of continuous and collaborative planning, implementation and evaluation.

Student Wins Bayer Research Grant June 10th,Alejandra Kaplan, a freshman in the Science Academy at Morristown High School has recent won a fully funded summer research grant to participate in the Bayer Climate Fellows Sustainability Camp. The program is the result of a new, collaborative partnership between RiverQuest, a Pittsburgh-based river education non-profit organization, and Creek Connections, an environmental education program of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. This innovative research opportunity that Alejandra was selected for will allow her to work with a select group of  teenagers from 40 different countries who will join together for two weeks of environmental exploration, adventure and fun while researching. The main focus will be in the fields of climate change and environmental sustainability. Alejandra will be partaking of this experience in Western Pennsylvania's river ecosystems.

  • Epps & Girls 4x400 are tops in the County! May 2009, The girls track team won the Morris County Championships & The Morris County Relay Championships. Christina Epps and the 4x400 Meter Relay team, Krystal Ellis, Danielle Osborne, Krystal Osborne and Whitney Gordon were all named First Team All County. Congrats to all the girls and the coaches.
