All-Night  Project Graduation Party Volunteers NEEDED!

The class of 2013 will be celebrating their graduation on Wednesday, June 26th, at the all-night party following the graduation ceremony. Project Graduation will be held at the Parsippany Hilton from about 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m.

We need your help to run another successful party this year. Please consider volunteering to help by:

  • Riding the bus to and/or from the high school to the party;
  • Chaperoning the students from 9:15 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.;
  • Chaperoning the students from 12:30 to 4 a.m.;
  • Doing all of the above!

Every year, the Project Graduation Committee hosts a Fashion Show and Basket Raffle to raise funds to offset the costs of the All-Night Party thrown for the graduating seniors the night of Graduation. The All-Night Party is a safe, alcohol & drug free evening of fun.

The cost for each student’s participation in the All-Night Party is approximately $120, of which the students pay $10.  This celebration for the seniors would not be possible without the Fashion Show and Basket Raffle. 

To allow us to continue hosting the All-Night Party, we are asking for parents to join us in the planning of the Fashion Show/Basket Raffle, as well as the all-night party.  Here is how you can help…

  • Attend the monthly meetings (click here for dates)
  • Join or (co)chair a sub-committee for the Fashion Show/Basket Raffle
  • Donate items for the basket raffle/grand prizes
  • Join or (co)chair a sub-committee for the All-Night Party
  • Chaperone the All-Night Party

SENIOR PARENT’S NEWS: 

ALL NIGHT PARTY INFORMATION SOON TO FOLLOW!!!

Graduation is Thursday, June 26th. After graduation (at Mennen Arena), the kids come back to MHS, get checked in & their bags “checked out.” They are then bused over to the Parsippany
Hilton for an entire night of eating and fun.

  • 9:30pm—Buses start loading.
  • 10pm – 2am—The kids have all kinds of foods & activities (large inflatable items)
  • 2:00am a hypnotist comes on and entertains them
  • 3:00, a great continental breakfast buffet

4:00am, the kids are bused back to MHS.

JUNIOR PARENT’S NEWS:

Project Graduation is just around the corner.  Each year the graduating seniors look forward to this last opportunity to spend time together as a class after graduation in a safe, fun environment.  The primary fundraising for this evening comes from proceeds from the Dinner and Fashion Show.
This year’s Dinner and Fashion Show will be held on Thursday, March 21st. Each year a group of families from each class contribute towards the purchase of a Grand Prize Basket for the evening.
We are collecting monetary donations for the Junior class gift for the Project Graduation Basket Raffle/Fashion Show. A suggested family donation amount would be $50.00, but please feel free to donate what you are comfortable with.
Each family’s name will be recognized on a card in front of the basket.  Of course, you can always send an individual donation to MHS Project Graduation at the High School address, but it will not be included in the “Junior Class” item.Please make checks made payable to “MHS Project Graduation” and remember to write “Junior Class” or “Class of 2013″ in the subject line.
We will need all donations by February 1, 2013.  If you are interested in participating this year, know that your generosity is greatly appreciated. The Project Graduation Fashion Show is coming up quickly and we are collecting
monetary donations for the Freshman Class Gift for the Basket Raffle.  The suggested family donation is a minimum of  $25.00 per family and each family’s name will be recognized.  Donations made to
