The MHS String Ensemble is open to students in the MHS Orchestra who play violin, viola, cello, or string bass.  The ensemble is the touring branch of the orchestra program.  Students audition for this advanced ensemble.
The Ensemble performs for school functions, such as the National Honor Society Induction and Senior Awards Night, as well as for community events.  A performance by the String Ensemble adds a touch of class and ambiance to an event.
