Downloadable Student Brag Sheet:
The Brag Sheet is an opportunity to share information that assists counselors in writing letters of recommendation for both college admission and scholarship applications.

Recent research reflects that counselor recommendations are the sixth most important factor in the admission process (State of College Admission Report,

National Association for College Admission Counseling, 2004-2005).  The recommendation provides admission personnel “insight into the personality of an applicant” by personalizing “the distinctive traits, experiences, skills and knowledge of an applicant and to explain the numerical content in the context of the student’s life”.

To best advocate for you, the completed Brag Sheet should be returned to your guidance counselor by September.
